Petoskey Canoeist to Circumnavigate Lake Michigan

Stephen Brede, of Petoskey, Michigan, spent last summer circumnavigating Lake Huron in a solo Kruger canoe. This summer he’s going to attempt to paddle the entire Lake Michigan coastline.

300 KM Paddleboard Journey

Squamish, British Columbia, resident Norm Hann just completed an epic 385-kilometre journey on a stand up paddleboard through Canada's Great Bear Rainforest to protest pipeline project.

$20,000 for Innovative Expeditions

GORE-TEXGrant

Up-and-coming canoe explorers should apply for the Gore-Tex $20,000 grant program for next year. Six teams make up the class of 2010 and help mark the 20th year of this unique program.
