Hello Wisconsin

wpg-410pxAdmittedly I had no idea that there are so many canoeing opportunities in Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin Paddle Guide is a comprehensive guide to some of the best canoe, kayak, and rafting rivers and streams in the state.

The site offers detailed river maps and descriptions including; access / landings, notable rapids, river campsite locations, difficulty ratings, distances, estimated trip times, and much more!

All the maps and guides are formatted for easy download and printing in Adobe PDF!

Each river has its own photo gallery with anywhere from 8 to 24 or more, pictures per river.

Another handy feature is a state map to help you locate each river.

You will also find a River Summary page, which lists every section in a directory, separated by difficulty; from calm flat-water floats to some of the most difficult and challenging whitewater runs in Wisconsin.

The Paddle Guide is regularly updated with several reaches of the lower Wisconsin River scheduled to be posted to the site throughout June, 2010!
