Knowing how to identify the big dipper is one thing, but being able to tell stories and identify thousands of stars, constellations and planets is another. Three new astrology gadgets, only recently released, are ideal for family campers, interior canoeists and astrology enthusiasts, especially on bright starry nights in the backcountry.
Celestron Sky Scout

At the click of a button, you can identify over 50,000 stars, planets and constellations using the SkyScout. It uses GPS and a built in database to help identify these objects and it also provides a bit of history and entertaining mythology on the most popular stars and constellations. It also has a list of stargazing highlights of the day of any location on earth. A perfect toy for the keen astrologist in your family.
