Cheeseburger in Can

Cheeseburger

In our latest Canoeroots issue, our staff rates the best freeze-dried meals. I’m not sure if this new product would have made the cut, but it is by far the most unique canoe tripping food EVER.

For fast food junkies out there, this might top your list. It’s a cheeseburger and … (drum roll please)…it’s in a can. And get this, it’s as easy to prepare as heating it in warm water and cracking the easy-open lid. This cheeseburger even comes with condiments and sesame seeds on the bun.

Sold under the brand, Trek ‘n Eat, it allows outdoor enthusiasts to have their cheeseburger and eat it too. According to the company, the canned cheeseburger required no refrigeration and has a shelf life of twelve months.

This product is truly the epitome of fast food. It might possibly liven-up any tripping menu but before adding it to your canoe pack check out this video.
