For kids and the young at heart, the Ice Box is the winter toy of the year.


If you were lucky enough to receive an ‘Ice Box’ for Christmas, like me you have already headed out into the back yard and have a half finished structure awaiting completion. 

The Ice Box is an ingenious tool for building igloos of various sizes from 7ft to 11ft diameter that can sleep from 1 to 6 people!  If the kids always like to set up the tent in the back yard to practice camping, now you can give them the winter experience, within close proximity to a warm house and hot drinks. 

Even if you just want a place to hang out building it with friends and family (the more the merrier) than this is a very fun winter tool.  Once you have mastered the construction process in the back yard take the Ice Box to the back country and try it on your next winter sojourn... you already have most of the equipment you will need from your summer camping season and your cold weather paddling trips.
