The Ultimate Florida Challenge race was a success this year with 6 out of 8 participants finishing the race. This is an expedition style race that circumnavigates Florida. With a route of approximately 1,200 miles and a 40-mile portage, this is one tough race.
Of the 8 paddlers that registered for this endurance event only 6 finished—with top spot going to Mark Przedwojewski of Kruger Canoes . He managed to cover the distance in 20 days, 20 hours, 8 minutes with the next closest paddler coming in almost 10 hours later.
Check out this short clip to see who participated in the race.
