Canoe North Adventures was presented with the 2010 Tourism Operator of the Year Award by the Northwest Territories Tourism Association.

Canoe North Adventures is seen as a strong partner in tourism and achieves the highest level of customer satisfaction."

Owner/Operators Al Pace and Lin Ward are thrilled to be recognized as industry leaders and are especially proud of the newly constructed Canoe North Adventures Outfitting Centre in Norman Wells, NWT, which opened its doors in July, 2010.

The 2200 sq. ft. timberframe and log structure was built "by canoe-trippers for canoe-trippers" to support both fully-guided and self-guided canoe and hiking adventures in the Sahtu region of the Northwest Territories including The Natla, Keele, Mountain, Redstone, Stoneknife, Arctic Red, Horton and Anderson Rivers and the Canol Heritage Trail.
