Fall Colours

No bugs, comfortable sleeping temperatures in the evening, no sun burns and tonnes of beautiful colours as the leaves change.

It's that time of year again here in Ontario. The crisp breezes of Fall have roled in to remind us that winter is not too far away. With that comes the turning of the leaves and probably my favourite time of year to take a canoe trip.

On top of the fact that the scenery absolutely stunning, there are no bugs and stifling heat to deal with. Even if you don't plan on taking a canoe trip, a simple drive or day paddle can be quite rewarding and visually stimulating.

If you're in Southern Ontario and wondering what the state of the Fall colours are North of you, you can go to the Parks Fall Colour Report at www.parkreports.com.

I would suggest if you don't want to miss out on the fall colours to plan on making the trip soon as things are looking alot like autumn here in Palmer Rapids.

What's your favourite fall colours place?
