In the Early Summer 2010 issue of Canoeroots, Kevin Callan offers up a whole bag of tricks to tripping with your four legged, furry friends.

I've always been paddling with my two dogs right from when they were puppies and I couldn't bare to imagine leaving them at home. Even on river trips, making our way down rapids, the dogs have learned to get down low in the boat if things are getting a little hairy.

Kevin's feature article in the Early Summer 2010 issue talks about various aspects of canoe tripping with your dog. First aid and doggy gear such as dog packs, bowls and PFDs are just a sample of some of the topics covered.
