Canadian Style canoeing, previously known as canoe ballet or freestyle. I stumbled across this video by Rolf and Debra Kraiker giving a little insight into the art of Canadian Style paddling. An amazing amount of boat control can be obtained from subtle strokes. Check out the video.
If you haven't you should give Canadian Style paddling a try. As a whitewater paddler who has taken a Canadian style course I can attest to it improving my moving water skill.
