First New Worlders Arrived by Canoe

Well not breaking news (it actually happened thousands of years ago.....) it's still pretty cool to hear about!  Well many of us have known for a very long time that there is no better mode of transportation than the trusty canoe in 2008 scientists made a discovery that just helps us prove that theory (in a very big way!).

"Science has long assumed the first people to inhabit the Americas - Clovis people - walked across Berengia, a land bridge over the Bering Strait, from Siberia and southward through the Rockies 11,000-12,000 years ago.  The Paisley discovery rocked the scientific world..."
