What is CANOE10?
CANOE10 is the 2nd annual Canadian Canoe Symposium presented by Rapid Media and hosted at the Paddler Co-op Boathouse.
CANOE10 is a celebration of Canadian canoe culture (solo, tandem, tripping, classic and whitewater) run in combination with the aim of sharing knowledge, experiences and good times on and off the water. CANOE10 is a laid-back social, instructional and fun weekend event offering the very best on- and off-water canoe clinics, on-water canoe demos, camping, music and the Reel Paddling Film Festival.
CANOE10 takes the proven Palmer Fest event model of focusing on beginner, intermediate and advanced skill development put it in a context relevant to today's canoeists. We've taken everything we've learned from 10 year's of traveling to festival and symposiums and put it all together on one amazing canoeing weekend. When is it?
Friday May 14 to Sunday May 16, 2010. Advance registration is required for this event and space is limited. We expect it to sell out six to eight weeks in advance. Register early to ensure your spot and to receive the early bird discount. We've added 50 MORE SPOTS ADDED: REGISTRATION EXTENDED TO MAY 10TH.

- The Madawaska River offers as much lakewater and touring opporunites as anywhere else in the province.
- The Madawaska River's class I-III rapids are the best place in the country for learning to paddle, ideal for introducing river tripping and river running concepts and skills.
